Job
Title: Transportation Manager
Pee Dee Regional Transportation
Authority is seeking a Transportation Manager to
direct and coordinate both fixed routes and
paratransit services for Florence and Darlington
county operations. This is a fast-paced,
continually changing environment. The ability to
“think on one’s feet” and make sound decisions is
essential. The TM directly supervises 30-40 drivers
and is responsible for ensuring that personnel and
vehicles are appropriately allocated. The ability
to manage day-to-day operations and plan for the
future is required. The ideal candidate will also
be a team player and will represent the Authority at
a variety of functions. Excellent written and
verbal along with computer skills is required.
Associate degree or an
equivalent combination of education and two years
managerial experience required. Salary commensurate
with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience,
with an expected hiring range in the low to high
$40K. State benefits package included.
