Transit Operations Supervisor
The City of Greenville SC is
seeking a Transit Operations Supervisor to monitor
the day-to-day operational activities of the
GreenLink bus system to include fixed route and para
transit; oversee and monitor the daily activities of
Information Specialist I and II, Shift Supervisor,
Bus and Van Drivers; coordinate vehicle cleaning
with Fleet Services; and, assist in ensuring the
transit system provides safe, efficient, and
accessible transportation to the community.
The Transit Operations Supervisor will
fill-in for the general manager of transit in
his/her absence.
High school diploma (or
equivalent) and at least five years of supervisory
experience or any equivalent of education, training,
and experience which provide the prerequisite
knowledge, skill, and abilities for this job.
The ideal candidate must possess strong
leadership skills. This candidate also should have
transportation and safety experience, and a class A
or B CDL with P endorsement is preferred.
Expected hiring salary range
$30,680 - $49,982.
Excellent benefit package included.
Criminal background check, pre-employment
physical, and drug screen is required.
